Bruce Hunt- Read the Austin Chronicle, it’s the best way to know what’s happening in Austin.
Bjorn Taylor- Wear sunscreen.
Talib Abdullahi- Have real conversations with people that have lived in Austin for a long time.
Kendall Antonelli- Welcome, and support local!
Sarah Sharp- Slow down a little, take a breath. Have a little more kindness for the people that have been here a long time.
Ernie Durawa- Support and embrace Austin’s long musical history!
Clay McPhail- Don’t try to be an instant cowboy. Find the things that make you happy.
Jane Ko- Be nice and be humble!
Karen Kocher- Pick a topic then go to the Austin History Center and ask them what they have on that!
Jim Bayless- Any newcomer should have and feel an obligation to learn as much as they can about their new home in Texas.
Leigh Watson- Be friendly; a smile goes a long way! For artists: never stop and ask for help.
Heather Lyle- Volunteer with places that support Austin’s green spaces, like the Texas Wildflower Center and the Wild Basin Preserve.
Tom Gimbel & Courtney Blanton- Be like Austin. Don’t be a jerk.
April Ritzenthaler- Just have fun. And plan your parking!
Piper Nelson- Visit some small towns around Austin!
Sharon Maidenberg- Learn about the art scene in Austin, get memberships to organizations in town, and pace yourself with the Austin day-drinking scene!
Steve & Veronica Busti- Be yourself, but embrace the odd side of town, and embrace that creative counterpart you will encounter in life!
